TEK Engineering provides a range of Machine Shop and Workshop Services supporting the Oil and Gas and Mining Sector. We are currently looking for an Engineering Apprentice (Metal Machinist) to join the team.
Working within a qualified and skilled team, you will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support.
Duties will involve:
- Performing engineering measurements
- Apply machining principles
- Use workshop machines for basic operations
- Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environment
The successful candidate will:
- Be a confident communicator
- Be able to undertake manual/physical work
- Motivated with a genuine interest in the machining industry
- Be trustworthy and reliable
- Have a high level of attention to detail
Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursuing machining as a career path, be motivated and willing to work hard to get trade qualified.
The successful candidate will undergo Certificate III in Engineering.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
