About you:AGL is seeking an experienced Engineering Design Manager for AGL Macquarie's Waste Brine Treatment Plant Project. You will lead the design and development of a new treatment plant and landfill facility at Bayswater Power Station. Managing waste brine from the Cooling Water Treatment Plant, you will apply your extensive experience in multidiscipline plant design to ensure the project meets business requirements and environmental obligations. Your exceptional coordination ability and clear communication skills will be crucial in working with many internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Engineering Design and deliverables to meet project requirements and schedule.
- Provide technical expertise to develop detailed scope of works for the new process plant and landfill facility.
- Review technical specifications, engineering standards, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment Systems and goals.
- Facilitate site visits, supervise contractors, and ensure work is completed safely and to standards.
- Expert knowledge and experience managing multidiscipline Engineering Designs.
- Experience with Australian Standards and water treatment plant design.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline (or significant relevant experience), Advanced Diploma (TAFE), or Trade Qualification.
- Excellent interpersonal, cooperative, and facilitation skills.
