Your new role
As the Engineering Lead, you will manage the maintenance team and engineers to ensure the successful delivery of product engineering support through asset management, engineering design, data analysis and technical assurance tasks.
- Responsible for providing engineering support for services and maintenance requirements across all assets
- Act as an onsite engineer for all relevant projects, including deployments at sea or abroad as required
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers both internal and external.
- Champion continuous improvement especially in terms of engineering process and practice
What you'll need to succeed
As the Engineering Lead you will have previous experience in services support maintenance, ideally in a defence environment. Your qualifications and knowledge will include:
- Degree qualification in Engineering
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management
- Ability to manage multiple projects with changing requirements and deadlines
- Able to travel locally and overseas as required
- Excellent communication skills including customer presentations
- Complete an offshore medical
- Able to gain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
