The role requires someone with a focus on guidance, direction and the centralisation of control systems strategies, plans, and policies. Are you looking for a leadership role that will be at the forefront of our ever-evolving renewable energy technologies, a true team leader who will oversee the operations and management of the communications and controls engineering team within the Engineering and Design functional support team. Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to the team to ensure project objectives are met with a professional and unified approach. Ensure good management practices are adhered to allowing the team to thrive in both their professional and personal development. Drive the culture to unify the team and act as an intermediary between project, commercial and commissioning teams in support of achieving the best possible business outcomes. Communicate and collaborate between departments and with clients to clearly define scopes of work and deliverables for excellent project outcomes. Work in conjunction with technical experts to ensure technical and commercial expectations are aligned. Monitor project completion and budgetary requirements of jobs. Assess and delegate resolution of issues. Support Tender Development, Project Delivery, Operations and R&D activities. About You: As a tertiary qualified, experienced people leader with a strong understanding of engineering and design principles you will manage technical people, input, and the management of risk in facilitating a project. Experience with the selection of electrical equipment, control systems and instrumentation would also be beneficial. Your excellent communication and confidence in team collaboration couple you’re your sound understanding of statutory and industry standards and specifications will make you successful in this role.
