Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise our engineering team of 20 plus, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Maintain facility and plant equipment to meet daily production needs safely and efficiently.
- Manage engineering records, including preventive maintenance schedules and machine history.
- Implement an effective preventive maintenance program to minimize production downtime.
- Support project work, especially in integrating new equipment or processing changes.
- Oversee vendor selection and manage contractor relationships.
- Coordinate meetings with senior management and promote effective communication throughout the company.
- Develop, mentor, and assess engineering teams, emphasizing training and competency.
- 5+ years' experience in a complex engineering environment, preferably in food or FMCG.
- Proven track record in engineering/maintenance management.
- Engineering qualifications or equivalent experience and education.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
