Way. About the RoleSEE Group have a great career opportunity available for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to? join our Mining and Resources division on a significant civil/mining project based in Orange, NSW.
This is a full-time FIFO position on an 8/6 roster travelling from Brisbane to Orange. Responsibilities will include Liaise on a daily basis with site supervisors and engineering staff
General survey fieldwork
Compile work-as-executed models
Create field set out designs
Prepare survey sketches
Create machine control files
Interrogate infrastructure design and identify issues
Calculate volumetric and area quantities
Install, measure and adjust survey control networks
Essential Skills and Attributes A Tertiary qualification in surveying, spatial science or similar. High level of experience in paving in the Civil Construction Industry especially dealing with Pavement Machine Control systems. Knowledge of current Engineering surveying techniques and experience in actual project delivery.
Experience in TBC, 12d and use of a full range of surveying equipment. Demonstrated numerical accuracy and analytical skills. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Proven management skills, practices and planning ability. UAV – REPL will be an advantage. Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
Ability to work unsupervised. What we offer
