Haneco Lighting is an Australian owned specialist LED lighting manufacturer servicing the Electrical Wholesale industry. We are based in Adelaide, South Australia, but are supplying to wholesalers Australia wide. We are seeking a dynamic and talented Engineering Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of lighting solutions that meet our clients' needs while adhering to industry standards and regulations. As an integral part of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of our products and services, while enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key responsibilities:

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and prototype innovative lighting products and systems.

·        Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging technologies, materials, and methodologies that can enhance our product offerings.

·        Perform feasibility studies and technical assessments to evaluate the viability and effectiveness of proposed solutions.

·        Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to support the manufacturing and assembly processes.

·        Utilize CAD software and other tools to create 2D and 3D models of lighting fixtures and components.

·        Conduct performance testing and analysis to validate product designs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.

·        Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders as needed.

··               ·        Ensure cost-effective and efficient equipment design, implementing comprehensive test plans                           across various equipment to identify potential defects and root causes.

  •               Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to lighting             technology and engineering.

Key requirements:                       

·        Degree qualification in Engineering or similar

·        Proven experience in electronics, opto-electronics or a related field.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

·        Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·        Passion for innovation and continuous learning, with a desire to contribute to the success of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.
