Job description:?
-Set up and operate machinery in accordance with work order.
-Clean machines after every work procedure.
-Perform checks and troubleshoot for faults.
-Perform routine preventative maintenance under direction.
-Assist with documenting and scheduling maintenance tasks.
-Communicate problems / issues to Production Manager.
-Work along with external contractors to learn new custom machinery and assist with installation.
-Maintain workplace standards and policies including industrial, OH&S, environmental, legal, statutory, and contractual requirements.
-Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the Company’s Guidelines, Mission, and Value Statements.
-Apply engineering skills to improve, design and modify all equipment and technology as necessary.
-Oversee the installation and implementation of all technological materials and equipment.
-Further develop policies essential for the installation of new technologies.
-Plan monitor and report on project progress.
-Develop and collate relevant documentation, reports, and other correspondence in support of projects.
-Coordinate accurate and timely collection of data from business and government reporting to support analysis work for projects.
-Undertake research, analyse results, investigate options, and recommend solutions to project related issues to senior management.
-Generate detailed reports based on findings from data analysis.
-Creating visuals that demonstrate data analysis results in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
-Deliver oral presentations of research results to internal and external audiences.
-Ensure projects are completed in accordance with agreed standards and timeframes.
-Coordinate division of labour to optimise efficiency.
-Liaise with all departments regarding project completion and coordinate all relevant costs including invoices and payments.
-Support database development and maintenance process as required.
-Ensure all engineering safety principles are upheld and correctly implemented and Occupational Health and Safety standards are maintained.
Qualifications/Attributes:
-Must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher.
-Must possess at least minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
-Must have mechanical aptitude.
-Ability to perform manual tasks including heavy lifting and dirty/wet work as required.
-A motivated and cooperative team member.
-Ability to undertake formal training in further Engineering disciplines.
-Attention to detail.
-Ability to communicate effectively.
-High-level understanding of manufacturing systems and processes.
Salary Range: $70,000 – $75,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
