Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 a year
Colair is currently expanding their manufacturing facility in Carrum Downs and require employing new personnel to work within their factory operation. The successful applicants will be required to work in a team environment assisting in the manufacture of air handling equipment and use professional skills to further develop processes in the factory floor.
Job Description:
- Assist Design of Mechanical Equipment and Programming to Cut Material for Manufacturing.
- Performing Technical Interactions with Suppliers and Customers and Responsible for Preparing Engineering Drawings
- Addressing Technical Problems with Proactive Solutions
- Providing Technical Support to Shop Floor Employees Regarding Design and Fabrication.
- Air Handling Unit (AHU) Fan Coil Unit (FCU) Assembling and Construction According to Drawings
- Review The Work of Technicians and Provide Technical Advice to Other Support Personnel.
- Liaising With External Parties, Suppliers, Design Companies and Component Suppliers.
- Quality Assurance (QA) On Completed AHU’s and FCU’s
- Attend Construction Sites for Assembly of AHU’s and FCU’s When Required
- Analyse Existing Technology and Make Recommendations for Improvements.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Or Building Services Industry Engineering Related Qualifications
- Relevant 2 Years’ Experience
- Must Be Proficient in Reading Manufacturing Drawings
- Work Within a DH&S Environment
- Aluminium and or Sheet Metal Design and Fabrication Experience Would Be Advantageous
