About the English Teacher Position
The English Teacher position available is a full-time, permanent role commencing in Term 2 or as soon as possible, specifically targeting Senior Level teaching for Years 10, 11, and 12. They are in search of a candidate who possesses significant experience in senior level teaching, coupled with the ability to engage and motivate students across various levels of proficiency. The chosen educator will be entrusted with the delivery of a vibrant and inclusive English curriculum, designed to meet the unique needs of our senior students. Your role will be crucial in creating an engaging educational environment that prepares students for both academic and personal achievements beyond school. Skills & Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement an engaging and differentiated English curriculum that caters to a diverse range of student abilities.
- Proven experience in senior secondary teaching, with a strong understanding of the academic and emotional needs of Years 10 to 12 students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build rapport and foster a positive learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with the latest educational practices and pedagogies.
- Ability to collaboratively work with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to support student learning and well-being.
- QCT registration or eligibility to obtain
