This vacancy has arisen to provide coverage for a period of long service leave for our teaching staff.
Key Selection Criteria: Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications and teaching experience relevant to English SACE Stage 1
- Proven experience and enthusiasm for teaching English to a very high standard
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and sensitively with staff, parents and students
- High level IT skills with demonstrated success in the effective use and application of technology in teaching and learning
- Understanding of the IBMYP learner profile, IBMYP Approaches to Learning and SACE/Australian Curriculum capabilities
- Commitment to continued professional development and the application of learning outcomes in ongoing teaching practice
- Involvement with relevant professional organisations
As a Teacher at Immanuel, you'll be responsible for the development and delivery of quality learning and teaching, providing an education where the whole person can grow and develop. This includes contribution to Pastoral Care and Co-curricular programs of the School.
You'll have commitment and enthusiasm for the teaching of young people in a way that is meaningful and engaging and work collaboratively with teaching and professional staff across the College to ensure delivery of high-quality educational outcomes for our students.
