We also provide supported independent living, short-term accommodation, home care support, community access support, group homes support, community nursing, and allied health services.Accord Care is looking for motivated Enrolled Nurse to provide holistic and person-centered community nursing care and support to our clients for Walloon, Forest Lake, Logan Reserve and Park RidgeDuties & Responsibilities:
- Administration of medications
- PEG management
- Ventilation and tracheostomy care
- Able to administer insulin
- Attending to wound dressings
- Attending to catheter flushes
- Visiting client homes to provide nursing care
- Complete comprehensive progress notes
- Liaise with GPs, care coordinators, RNs and allied health
- Attend to medical emergencies and provide first aid as required
- Full support from senior nurses and operations team
- Career plan to assist you to move into other areas within the organisation
- Registered Nurse on-call 24/7
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions
- Diploma of Nursing
- Willingness to work across both AM and PM shifts with occasional nights
- First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to acquire)
- NDIS Worker Screening check (or willingness to acquire)
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Ability to work within indirect supervision requirements
- Proven technological, communication and time management skills
- A passion for providing quality care
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Driver's license
- Willing to travel to client's homes
