See link -About us:The Medical/Surgical Ward 1 Unit is located in Block One on the first floor of the Gladstone Hospital. The service offers a total of 31 inpatient beds which cover sub-acute, medical, surgical, rehabilitation and palliative care patients. The Medical/Surgical Unit provides clinical care through the development and maintenance of relevant and proven patient care standards involving ongoing research in clinical applications.About the role:An Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS) position is available within the busy and dynamic Medical/Surgical ward. This Nurse will follow the four guiding values of Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS) to ensure positive behaviour and performance outcomes.The nurse will perform under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), and is responsible for delivering competent, evidence-based nursing care at an advanced level, within their scope of practice to all patients in the ward. This includes and not restricted to, Surgical, Medical, Orthopaedic, and sub-acute patients.About you:To be successful in this role you must have current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
- Possess well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of the importance of quality, safety and risk in healthcare environment.
- Able to demonstrate effective relationships with the range of health professionals involved in providing patient care.
- A hourly rate between $39.25 - $41.65 p.h.
