About the role Brisbane Private Hospital is currently looking for experienced Anaesthetics Enrolledd Nurses to join our team on either a casual, part time or full time basis. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and have a passion for delivering high quality patient care. Shift times for this role vary including 6 and 10-hour day shifts starting at 630am, 8-hour evening shifts starting at 1230pm and an option for twilight evening shifts from 1700pm-2100pm. On call duties are required on weeknights and weekends. About us Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, general surgery, Rehabilitation and delivery of Brisbane's leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services. Your duties will include
Delivering excellent service and care to patients
Liaise within a multi-disciplinary team
Proven ability to work well within a team
Ensuring patient and staff safety
Sound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practices
Proven troubleshooting skills
Possess organisational skills and complete documentation to a high standard
Will adhere to Healthscope and site policies and procedures, contribute to the efficient, effective and economic running of the peri operative service.
Essential Criteria:
Diploma in Nursing
Current Registration with AHPRA
Minimum 1 year Post Graduate experience in Anaesthetics
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team
Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards
