Enrolled Nurse for Modern Mental Health Clinic

We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse join our team, working alongside psychiatrists to operating a treatment called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in Fairfield and Northmead. Must be a fantastic communicator & commit to offering great patient care.

Salary

$32.05 – $37.69 p/h depending on experience 
~5%-7% above NSW Public Award

About the role

You are the face of our clinic – and must have a great patient demeanour and communication and be able to build a clinically appropriate rapport with patients in a clinically appropriate way. This is the most important aspect of the role. You will be trained in other aspects

You will be required to operate a TMS machine (with extensive training) and spend time with patients with depression and other Mental Health comorbidities. You will also be required to follow clinical procedures, input notes into our practice management software and attend weekly clinical reviews lead by our Medical Director. 

The role is Permanent Part Time, 2 days a week, ideally with the ability to work longer hours if required.

Jobs and responsibility 

• Operate a TMS machine on your own after training under the guidance of our doctors
• Liaise and treat patients with depression and other Mental Health comorbidities
• Input treatment notes into practice management software
• Take patient metrics
• Follow clinical procedures
• Attend a weekly clinical review lead by our Medical Director & Psychiatrist.

Key requirements

• Excellent client demeanour, communication, well presented and a commitment to offering great patient care
• Must be at a minimum an Enrolled Nurse and meet minimum mandatory requirements as stipulated by the Nursing and Midwives Board Australia.
• Must have a double COVID vaccination and keep up with vaccination boosters as needed
