About your opportunity:
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) is an associate to the Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient/client centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and in accordance with the Practice Standards as identified by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board.
Generous remuneration package value up to $83,993 p.a. comprising:

• Salary range of $2650.90 to $2813.40 p.f. full-time or $34.88 to $37.01 p.h. part-time (Nurse Grade 3)
• Annual leave with relevant leave loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements:

• Nursing: Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
• Mandatory: Diploma of Nursing equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
• Mandatory: Evidence of completion of modules related to medication administration and peripheral intravenous therapy.
• Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
• Travel: Please note, from time-to-time this position will be required to travel to, and work at, other facilities located within the Rural Hospitals Service Group network to participate in meetings for planning, quality, performance, training and education, or clinical activities. This may involve day and/or overnight stays. Travel on small planes or ferry may be required. The successful applicant/s will need to be able to commit to this requirement.
• Accommodation: On-site temporary single staff accommodation will be provided for the successful applicant.
• All employees of the RHSG may be required to work in other areas of the Service.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
• Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
