Mallee Track Health and Community Service (MTHCS) is classified as a Multipurpose Service (MPS) and provides a broad range of services across all the Mallee Track Communities in areas of community and allied health services, neighbourhood houses, early childhood education and care, and access to primary health care. In addition, medical clinics, acute medical care, urgent care and residential aged care are provided at Ouyen and Sea Lake.
MTHCS is situated in the Mallee Region of Victoria, just over one hours drive south of Mildura (Ouyen) and just under an hours drive west of Swan Hill. The district is known for its broad acre farming and grazing.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Essential:
- Proven ability to apply high ethical standards, and represent MTHCS in a professional manner.
- Current Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Experience working with older people and with chronic illnesses.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with customers, families and other staff.
- Well-developed computer skills.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
- Current Police Check.
MTHCS also offers Enrolled Nurse Graduate Programs.
This 18 month program will provide you with the knowledge and skills to work in rural Victoria. This program will provide you with valuable learning and development opportunities to launch your career and make a difference to the lives of people in rural communities. All you need is to have graduated from an undergraduate degree in nursing or a diploma of nursing course in the last two years and be interested in learning how to provide care to the people and communities in rural areas.
