Tweed Community & Allied Health has a vacancy for an Enrolled Nurse to join their Transitional Aged Care team. Working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse within a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive, evidence based service within the framework of the Transitional Aged Care Program Guidelines.
If you have/are:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) and ability to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team
- Clinical experience that includes specialist knowledge in the area of the frail and aged, including nursing management of wounds, medications, and continence
- Knowledge and understanding of the challenges involved in working in a community/ambulatory care setting and the principles of case management
- Effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
