Tresillian is pleased to offer a part time position for a motivated and experienced Enrolled Nurse (EN) for our Tresillian Wollstonecraft Residential Unit.
This position will be involved in the provision of quality child and family health services to families caring for children 0-3 years of age within a Tresillian service, working within the Tresillian collaborative model of care, family partnership principles and the NSW Health Professional Practice Framework for Child and Family Health Nursing (CFHN).
The EN will use a strength-based and wellness focus, building on parental confidence and skills through the provision of information, education, resources, guidance and role modelling safe responsive care, working under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse.
This will be achieved by working within the Tresillian Model of Care, Practice Principles and the NSW Health Professional Practice Framework for Child and Family Health Nursing (CFHN). The EN will use a strength-based and wellness focus, building on parental confidence and skills through the provision of information, education, resources, guidance and role modelling safe responsive care. The EN, utilising evidenced based screening and assessment tools, uses their family partnership skills to identify health variations or family vulnerabilities in order to negotiate individual care plans and discharge pathways to meet the goals of the family.
Selection Criteria – Applicants must address the Selection Criteria: 1) Enrolled Nurse List (A). 2) Demonstrated experience in attending to the physical, social and emotional needs of children, and their families. 3) Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of population health and primary health care. 4) Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles and skills of working in partnership and the principles that underpin NSW Safestart, within a multidisciplinary team environment. 5) Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, including computer literacy. 6) Understanding of, and commitment to, evidence based practice. 7) Current NSW Drivers Licence Class C.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 Immunisation Medical Exemption Form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of booster vaccination if available.
