Full Time Enrolled/ Registered Nurse 

Watergardens Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic Full time Enrolled/Registered Nurse for our practice within the Watergardens Town Centre. We are a modern and busy practice, who provide high quality care to all patients.

You will have a positive and can-do attitude and be committed to delivering exceptional customer service and patient care. You will be required to work cooperatively within our clinical team of doctors and nurses and have flexible working arrangements, including weekends.

Essentials 

• Current AHPRA registration
• CPR/First Aid
• Medication endorsed
• Flexible working arrangements
• Working with Children’s Check
• National Police Check
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility with the roster

Tasks and responsibilities

• Assisting the doctors with minor procedures
• Infection control
• Chronic disease management
• Health Assessments
• Patient triage
• Maintain high level of accuracy when recording patient information
• Wound care
• ECG’s
• Immunisations/Vaccinations
• Responsible for Cold Chain Management
• Manage the recall and reminder system
• Administration tasks
• Liaising with Allied Health Professionals
• Maintaining medical stock

Desirables

• Prior experience in a General Practice
• Best Practice Software
• Experience with chronic disease management plans
• Computer literacy
• Able to work well under pressure
