An exciting opportunity has become available for an Enterprise Data and Analytics Leader to spearhead the development and delivery of ElectraNet's organisation-wide data and analytics governance framework whilst working across the business to contribute to the design of business strategies and operating models that maximise data asset value.


In this role, you will ensure appropriate governance, systems and processes are implemented and maintained to effectively manage and utilise data assets, to safeguard data integrity and security, improve data quality and access, and support ElectraNet to become an insight-driven organisation that leverages data as an enterprise asset.

About You

You will be driven by how emerging technologies link with data. We can offer you an opportunity in the fast-growing renewable energy sector working in a values driven environment.


To be successful in this role, you will have;

  • Proven and extensive experience in a similar senior data leadership role; project leadership experience in diverse business, or project/program management in technology environments in a highly complex business environment;
  • Strong prior experience (10+ years) in a senior leadership role in data and analytics management;
  • Demonstrated track record of driving data-driven decision-making and business insights;
  • Proficiency in data management practices, including data quality, data and analytics;
  • Experience identifying, communicating and quantifying risks and mitigations associated with data and analytics (e.g., analytics and data platform impacts to network function, safety, managing weaknesses in modern technology, regulatory compliance assurance, data ethics, personally identifiable information, reputational impact);
  • The ability to negotiate, collaborate, influence and generate buy-in for change cross-functionally and at senior levels of the organisation, and record of strong leadership that has contributed to or defined policy direction and strategy.
