Job description

We are looking for creative thinking and inspiring thought-leader who can bring a fresh, contemporary overview to all aspects of the EPMO - both strategic and operational. You will need to quickly adopt and direct current Project Management focused initiatives, and you have the vision to develop, implement and champion new ideas across the business. Your genuine passion for Project Management will be obvious and play an integral role in helping build acceptance,understanding and collaboration with all stakeholders and team.
About the team
The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) provides a whole-of-Council service, seeking to progressively improve Council's Project Management practices, processes and body of knowledge. They are the custodians of Council's enterprise-level Project Management Framework and the organisational Project Management Information System (PMIS). The EPMO also facilitates the development of Council's Project Management capacity, capability and organisational Project Management maturity through a range of initiatives and projects in consultation with all Project Practitioners.
About the position

  • This is a temporary full time position of up to five years based in the Toowoomba CBD.
  • A base salary range of $109,817.33 - $123,936.67, plus superannuation and leave loading plus above Award payment negotiable with the successful candidate.
  • Council vehicle available for work use and restricted private use.
  • If you are relocating for this position, you may be eligible for reimbursement of relocation expenses to the region in accordance with Council's policy.
