Job description

Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.

About the Role

  • Leads initiatives in the utilisation of processes and tools to improve self-service capabilities for key stakeholders while supporting timely delivery of fit-for-purpose products by participating in an agile project environment where products are iteratively developed and enhanced based on stakeholder feedback and objective assessments.
  • Lead the development and provision of adult learning activities, including the design and creation of training content, collateral, and end-user support in consultation and collaboration with the QDA Nurse Educator and ieMR project (ESM) Subject Matter Experts ensuring clinical focus and workflow application where appropriate.
  • Deliver training within a digital healthcare environment to support the provision of the highest standards of safety, quality care and services to meet the requirements of Metro North Health.
  • Manage, identify, plan and coordinate interprofessional staff training deliverables and resources required to ensure and facilitate the successful transfer of skills for implementing and adopting key digital health technologies.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, with consideration of risks and impacts on consumer/person care.
