In this role, you'll:

be working as part of The Environment & Sustainability Regional Assets and Operations Team, South that delivers environmental leadership, strategic direction and technical guidance and solutions for our customers, people and the community. 

This role will see you provide technical advice and expertise to our construction and maintenance teams, delivery partners, environment regulatory agencies and the community. You will report to the Environment and Sustainability Manager South East.

This is a permanent opportunity based in the South region with Wollongong being the home office. The role will require you to operate in an autonomous manner in remote areas of the region and will involve overnight travel to remote areas.

About you

Your demonstrated ability in monitoring and evaluating environmental performance will be key to providing constructive advice and guidance to identify risks and improve environmental outcomes in the planning, delivery and operational phases of construction and maintenance activities.

You’re recognised as someone who has strong problem solving and negotiating skills and can use your interpersonal skills to manage a variety of stakeholders. You will have the ability to prioritise your work under pressure. You have relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science, environmental management, environment planning, engineering or a related discipline.
