Planning and Development Directorate
The Planning and Development Directorate is responsible for the sustainable and responsible development of the City’s neighbourhoods - both residential and commercial.
This high performing team deals with a wide range of interesting planning matters to help shape the future of the City for over 220,000 residents and visitors.
About the Position
The City of Stirling is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to join our team as an Environmental Health Officer.
Our Environmental Health Officers are responsible for implementing and maintaining public, Environmental Health and environmental related services, programs, and projects in accordance with statutory obligations, Business Plans, operational procedures, and Council policies.
Our ideal candidate will be experienced in undertaking inspections and investigations, using high level communication skills to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders and representing the City in a professional manner.

About You

Tertiary qualification in Environmental Health (mandatory)
Well-developed conflict resolution skills.
Excellent communications skills
‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.

This permanent full-time position is a Level 7 Inside Workforce Agreement positions which attract a salary from $93,235.12 - $98,143.25 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have ability obtain a:
A copy of Australian driving licence
National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
The right to work in Australia
