Role Overview:

As an Environment Engineer in our Environment Team, you will play a critical role in supporting various projects aimed at environmental remediation and sustainability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse tasks, from preparing tender documents to assisting with groundbreaking R&D initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation of comprehensive and competitive tender documents to secure new projects.
  • Management Plans: Contribute to the development of detailed management plans to guide project execution and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • R&D for Remediation Technology: Participate in research and development activities to innovate and refine remediation technologies and methodologies.
  • Site Mobilisation/Demobilisation: Support the logistical aspects of mobilising and demobilising project sites, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Closure Studies: Assist in the delivery of thorough and accurate closure studies to evaluate project success and environmental impact.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Remediation Manager and the broader team to facilitate smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in environmental engineering, particularly in remediation projects, is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Passion for environmental sustainability and innovation.
