T-Ports specialises in bulk handling, storage and transhipping of grain using cutting-edge state of the art facilities and equipment. T-Ports operates two transhipment ports at Lucky Bay on the Eyre Peninsula and Wallaroo on the Yorke Peninsula. As well as the two transhipment ports, T-Ports operates up-country grain storage sites at lock & Kimba and a transhipment vessel “Lucky Eyre” that discharges grain into ocean-going vessels at sea. T-Ports is founded on four pillars, Innovation, Safety, Integrity, and Efficiency.
T-Ports is offering seasonal harvest workers, a great team environment and above-award and industry pay rates. We will provide training, PPE and help you find accommodation at some of our locations. About the role:
- General Grain Handling
- Bunker operations
- Tarp Crew
- Grain Classification
- All roles have on-site training
About you: To be considered for casual employment with us during harvest, you’ll need to:
- Be available to work with us from October 2024 to January 2025
- Loader tickets, HR Licences will be highly regarded
- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
New Zealand citizen or hold a valid work visa.
- Be capable and willing to work in an outdoor and shift work environment.
- Be willing to undergo a company paid pre-employment medical.
- Previous grain/cotton harvest/storage & handling experience is preferred although not essential.
- Be enthusiastic, enjoy your work and strive to offer a high level of customer service
