About the role
As Group Marketplace Director, you are the responsible for the overall delivery of high quality marketplace plans, ensuring your team of talented marketplace planners and buyers are using data, technology and tools to deliver best in class media solutions. You will work collaboratively with the strategy and planning teams to execute multi-channel campaigns delivering best in class media solutions for our clients.
What will make you stand out

• Oversee the marketplace output of the team, translating in channel strategy recommendation to marketplace activation

• Contribute to Marketplace product development and direction

Meet with media owners, tech vendors, auditors amongst others to keep abreast of the latest opportunities for your clients * Identify new commercial opportunities over and above media recommendations

• Influence your client and get their buy in on your point of view or opinion about a recent market trend or development
• Work collaboratively with a client who is open to innovation, and recommendations
• Leading a team of 7, maintaining a healthy team culture, through training and development initiatives, managing people related issues as a priority to ensure overall happiness levels of team
• Manages the workflow, talent development and quality control in your group
• Hold regular performance reviews across the year ensure standards and talent development
• Actively take steps to make improvements to improve retention
• Creating long term development opportunities fostering your teams career growth during their time at EssenceMediacom

More about You

• Either currently in a Marketplace Director level or have a minimum of 2-3 years as an experiences Manager, or Associate Director
• Experience leading teams in a sometimes challenging environment
• Knowledge of the media industry highly regard
• Solutions orientated, with a deep understanding of the continuously changing the offline landscape
