About the role:
Our client seeks an Estimating and Quoting Co-ordinator for their facility based in North Brisbane; as an Estimating and Quoting Co-ordinator, you will provide efficient administrative support to Sales and Production to ensure that all customer enquiries are estimated/ quoted in the required time frame.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Compile quotes for customers
- Provide detailed advice on products and services with strong interpersonal skills.
- Answer telephone inquiries and assist visitors.
- Follow up with customers, keeping them informed of product progress.
- Undertake follow-up management procedures for all inquiries and quotations.
- Estimate and quote for received inquiries.
- Create necessary information for estimating, quoting, and scheduling work.
- Perform work independently or as part of a team under general/limited supervision.
- Handle non-trade tasks incidental to the primary responsibilities.
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and/or Turning) required
- Demonstrated experience in building strong customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in computer skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
