About You :

Year 12 or equivalent

Position Summary :

The Estimating/Purchasing role is responsible for the growth and development of new business. This position is critical to ensure the continued growth and success of the organisation but also an opportunity to create genuine partnerships with future clients.

• Proven ability to analyse processes and ensure continuous improvement
• Systematic approach to phone based sales processes and business development
• Excellent phone based interpersonal/telephone skills and intuition
• Ability to generate ideas for business improvement
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Persistent approach to time management
• High levels of enthusiasm, energy and resourcefulness
• Excellent planning, organisation and computer skills
• High degree of accountability and attention to detail
•  Have the ability to read building plans and visualise a 3 Dimensional drawing to a built result

Job Responsibility :

• Learn new tasks with CAD (roof wizard)
• Use common Office packages with demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office, and company CRM
• Read and understand plans/working drawings
• Learn company products and services to clients at all levels over the phone but most importantly, GM/management/decision maker
• Have an understanding for roofing materials and company products
• Preparing client proposals/quotes
• Follow up with client issues as they arise
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
