Estimator / Draftsperson – Joinery

Established Architectural Linings and Commercial Joinery business seeking an experienced Estimator/draftsperson.

The role will suit someone with a background in Engineering, Drafting, Joinery, Feature Linings or Cabinetry including an understanding of the manufacturing process of a fast-growing local Australian business. 

Job role responsibilities:

• Estimating & producing accurate project take-offs for tendering purposes. 
• Working directly assisting with the technical and manufacturing part of the business.
• Drafting and processing jobs for production.
• Ensure drawings, cutting lists and materials are produced in a timely manner to achieve the set targets in accordance with the weekly and monthly production schedule.
• Understanding of architectural, site and shop drawings.

• High attention to detail.
• A willingness to achieve targets and learn from an experienced team.
• Sound problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Strong background in joinery drafting.
• Enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a team.
• Primary drafting experience in Mozaic or Cabinet Vision with the view to be trained in Mozaic.  Drafting in AutoCAD and/or Top Solid Wood be beneficial (Top Solid Training Available, however prior experience preferred). 

Flexible hours where required to get the job completed on time.

Salary package negotiated based on experience.
