About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the SWSLHD Research Directorate as an Ethics andGovernance Coordinator. This role is responsible for providing high level support to the Ethics and Research Governance team, Researchers, as well as the Human Research Ethics Committee.

What you'll be doing

Provide high level administrative support and assistance to the Ethics and Governance Unit of the Research Directorate in SWSLHD by undertaking a range of secretariat and coordinating functions relating to the ethical review and governance processes for research involving humans.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Proven high order written and verbal communication skills
  2. Successful experience in providing secretariat services to a high level committee
  3. Knowledge and understanding of the policies and guidelines governing human research Ethics and Research Governance
  4. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  5. Strong administrative management skills including ability to deal with and prioritise a high workload
  6. High level capacity to use office computing applications
  7. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills including ability to work under constant pressure and in a fast paced environment
  8. Experience working at a Hospital or University Research and Ethics Office or knowledge and understanding about Ethics and Research Governance
