Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.About the RoleSeeking experienced Evaluation Utilities to provide logistic support for RE drilling projects including contractors and field team.Ensure timely collection, processing and dispatch of all samples in consultation with project team membersAccurately record all data into ProTrak and validate data on a regular basisAssist and further develop a culture of safety in the respective project areasTrain and mentor new Contract Field Assistants in all aspects of safety and field related tasksSupport Senior Geologists and Field Project Coordinators, and assist geologists with field based tasks, provide communication links between field and office based staffReinforcing quality work practices and maintain strict quality control relating to sampling and data collectionImprove procedures and pursue innovative process improvements for data collectionAssist with improving project and Department safety systemsSkills and ExperienceAt least 1+ year mining exposureCurrent Australian 'HR' class driver licence4wd safe driver trainingFirst Aid TrainingAbout WorkPacWorkPac is Australia's largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
