Event Co-Ordinator

Looking for better pastures? We are looking for a Event Co-Ordinator to organise and run the functions at our resort in Darwin. We cater for conferences, weddings, birthday parties, engagements for 20 to 100 plus guests plus more.

· Full time position

· 35 - 45 hours per week

· $70,000-$80,000 per year + superannuation

· Northern Suburbs, close to beach, shopping centres, hospital

· A stable position on offer

· Flexibility of hours

· Immediate start

Duties will include:

• Develop an annual calendar of events
• Drive the coordination and delivery of all aspects of high-quality events which meet organisational needs (eg. Prepare and manage events budgets, negotiate contracts for event, catering, audio-visual equipment, signage and post event details)
• Work collaboratively with the Chefs and Restaurant Supervisor for the preparation and successful outcome of the event.

Successful applicants must have:

• Minimum two year experience
• Tertiary qualifications in events management, marketing, business administration or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
