Event Photographer

The Role

Prancing Horse offer a variety of holistic luxury driving experiences across Australia.

Our high-end services require crisp and authentic photography of exceptionally high quality.

As in-house photographer working across Australia, you will be working alongside management and our marketing team to plan and produce outstanding creative content for website, direct marketing, print media and social media.

You will be capturing beautiful and memorable moments of our customers, our luxury vehicles as well as landscapes and food.

Qualifications and experience

• At least five years of relevant experience in a variety of photography fields; desirable are:

people photography (e.g. weddings, fashion etc), lifestyle photography (documentary style), sports photography (motion images)

• You will have a superior understanding of Photoshop and Lightroom and will have experience editing and presenting campaigns to clients

• You will have an excellent creative eye for photography and will bring your elegant, modern and authentic style to our team

• Preference for multi-lingual abilities

• MUST be flexible with frequent travel arrangements (at least three weeks per month(!)

will be spent on location all across Australia); we have had trouble finding someone who is available to travel year-round in the past, so this is non-negotiable

Tasks include

• Attending our drive day experiences across Australia, documenting our customers’ experience

• Producing creative and high-quality images of our customers, our supercars, scenery as well as some food photography

• Editing images to the highest standard possible for use in print and online media, website and email marketing

• Putting together a photography package and creating an online gallery for each customer after each drive day

• Pre-production and post-production of photography content for our website, email marketing and social channels

• Liaising with our partner restaurants and hotels and providing them with content

• Shooting with journalists and influencers

• Working closely with management and our marketing team to develop a visual brand identity

• Maintaining and updating website assets

• Updating and producing marketing materials

Your Skills

• Must have a portfolio of your best work, preferably on your own website - PLEASE SEND YOUR PORTFOLIO WITH YOUR APPLICATION

• Recognisable und unique photography and editing style which makes you stand out from other photographers

• Be experienced working with people, especially couples, able to capture flattering and memorable images of our customers

• Must be able to direct people and know what will look good

• Must be able to work with natural lighting as well as studio lighting

• Must have own drone or ability to fly a drone

• Must own most camera equipment needed, e.g. tripod, wide angle lenses, full-frame camera, gimble, flash etc.

• Consistent and dedicated, ambitious and professional, proactive

• Works autonomously as well as in a team environment

• Absolute flexibility to work in different regions within Australia and travel monthly while on event

• Flexibility to work outside of business hours and more than 8 hours per day
