The Event Operations Team deliver thousands of events across the Merivale portfolio each year which include some of Sydney’s most iconic venues such as Establishment, ivy, Hotel CBD, Beresford and a couple of stadiums in Centennial Park!

The Role

This exciting role will have you working group wide! No two days will ever be the same working in some of Australia’s most prestigious venues and complexes.

As we continue to grow, we have a couple opportunities for casual Events Floor Managers to join the team.

An exciting prospect for someone who is passionate about hospitality and delivering the best event experiences in the industry.

Main accountabilities include:

• Executing exemplary guest experiences on event day with ownership over the delivery of food and beverage service on the floor
• Leadership and supervision of the wait staff team, ensuring the team deliver exceptional experiences at every stage of the guests journey
• Passion for product. Support the kitchen and front of house teams to deliver consistency around all aspects of food and beverage
• Promoting a healthy working environment for the team – enjoyable, educational, results focused and respectful
• Strong attention to detail and maintenance of venue presentation - every little detail matters
