Job Brief:
- Proven experience as a Digger/Excavator Operator in the construction industry
- Proficient in the safe operation of heavy machinery
- Monitor the performance of machines during operation and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
- Provide evidence of relevant certifications - including white card, asbestos and silica.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site-specific protocols
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Ability to work autonomously and take the lead
