The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving patient health through the safe and effective use of gastroenterological procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Interpreting and reporting on gastrointestinal diagnostic tests such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and liver biopsies.
- Consulting with patients on procedures, potential side effects, and therapeutic effects.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patient effectiveness.
- Ensuring equipment availability by maintaining, restocking, and inventorying gastroenterological equipment.
- Maintaining gastroenterological knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Medical degree from a recognised institution.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to make decisions in the best interest of the patient.
