- In line with the Future of Education Strategy and LTC strategic improvement planning, work within the Executive team to lead whole school evidence-based strategies to impact student outcomes.
- Lead the use of research based and data informed practices to enhance student wellbeing and engagement.
- Lead and manage the ongoing development of a multidisciplinary team, including teaching, administrative and allied health professionals.
- Lead transition processes for incoming and outgoing students.
- In conjunction with the senior executive, lead in the ongoing development of community, stakeholder and agency relations to enhance student learning and wellbeing.
- Assist Principal with other whole of school leadership and management functions based on school needs.
Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification.
mandatory:
- Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or eligibility for teacher registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute). A current registration issued through Access Canberra under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
