Exercise Physiologist Or Physiotherapist

Looking for an energetic and highly organised professional to deliver an amazing exercise program to our patients in a beautiful new on-site gymnasium.  Permanent part-time opportunity

The Role

As an Exercise Physiologist/Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for the assessment of patients, prescription of exercises, and the supervision of patient exercise programs. You will be working across the hospital to provide these services and provide advice on the referral pathway options post discharge:

• Deliver therapy in both individual and group based settings
• Provide high quality, individualised care
• Work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Work within an existing gym timetable to deliver patients services such as yoga and balance classes with the ability to adjust based on clinical need and feedback 

About You

To thrive in this role, you will have a thirst for learning; for thinking on your feet, for being a team player and most importantly, have a real interest in providing high quality exercise programs. 

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor of Exercise Physiology or Bachelor of Physiotherapy 
• At least 3 years of post-graduate experience in a healthcare setting 
• experience in conducting exercise conditioning treatment programs 

Preferred but not essential requirements:

• Accredited Member with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)/AHPRA 
• Experience working in a hospital or mental health setting
