The Opportunity
Due to exciting growth and opportunity, Pilbara Quarries are seeking experienced Blast Hole Drillers to join our Hard Rock Quarrying and Contract Crushing & Screening operations located in Karratha, Western Australia.

To be considered for this role applicants must have experience in the quarrying or mining sector, good time management, be able to work unsupervised in a safe manner, a general understanding of maintenance & break down knowledge (changing hoses etc), good communication & paperwork.
A ‘can-do’ attitude is a MUST. And the following attributes are required:
- Strong experience operating Blast Hole drill rigs - in particular Atlas Copco Top Hammer drill T45 & GD5000
- Development / Contour drilling experience highly regarded but not essential.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (Manual)
- Ability to obtain National police check (less than 12 months old)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
- Ability to conduct basic daily drill rig servicing & maintenance
- Provide assistance to maintenance fitter if required.
- Provide assistance on blast crew at times if required.
