We are seeking professional, qualified carpenters with experience in all aspects of residential carpentry to join one of our teams in either Bayside, Brisbane, Ipswich or Logan.
Established in 1981, J&D Contracting is a quality accredited Brisbane based company providing a complete range of building maintenance and disability services for government and private sector clients throughout Queensland.

About the role:
- Undertake all aspects of the carpentry trade, fixing & finishing carpentry, minor tiling, roof/ceiling repairs, patching and painting, door and window maintenance, make safe maintenance.
- General repairs and maintenance throughout a broad range of areas residential and commercial property maintenance
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks.
- Identify and report the need for major repairs.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified carpenter, 2+ years renovation/maintenance experience
- The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team.
- An unwavering focus on safety and quality standards, caring about delivering a quality finish every time.
- Cert III in Carpentry and White Card (both essential)
- Easy going nature, respectful and positive coupled with good people and communication skills.
- Superior time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic
- Experience with simPRO or similar scheduling system
- Current manual drivers' licence.
- Can do attitude and ability to solve problems which arise in day-to-day jobs.
