Mitchell Services has been operating for over 50 years and operate 100 rigs with Tier 1 clients nationwide. About the Role Due to continued growth within our Surface Energy Division, we are now seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to become a valued member in our drilling crews where you will understand the terms of the drilling program and liaise with your supervisor to ensure successful completion of the work.
The role is on a 14 days on and 7 day off roster. Flexibility for a 14 days on and 14 days off roster is available for the right candidate. Both rosters being day shift only!
This role is FIFO from any major city or DIDO within an acceptable distance. Duties Consistently apply sound drilling practices and techniques within your range of competence. Execute the hole plan.
Drill accurately and diligently to maximise ‘Bit on Bottom’. Minimise breakage and down hole loss. Carry out basic preventative maintenance and servicing of equipment and down hole equipment / BHA.
Experience & qualifications Current Australian HR License is mandatory Demonstrated experience in Diamond Coring (Coal) Desirable experience in Mud Rotary (Coal) Experience on Large Diameter projects is desirable Certificate III Drilling in Operations or greater is mandatory Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessment Employee Benefits Full time role with competitive day rates Established 2/1 or 2/2 roster Employee Benefits, Rewards & Recognition platform Modern fleet of equipment Excellent maintenance facilities Variety of work tasks How to Apply
