AddressThiess is currently seeking Experienced Haul Truck, Multiskilled and Excavator Operators to join our exciting projects based near Moranbah QLD. We currently have opportunities available at the following sites:
PEAK DOWNS
- Flights provided from Brisbane to Moranbah by Thiess
- Thursday to Wednesday shifts
- BIBO provided by Thiess from Mackay and Townsville
- Full camp facilities and meals provided - Camp is based at Civeo camp in Moranbah, enjoyable lifestyle with access to local cafes, restaurants, gyms, and other facilities.
CAVAL RIDGE
- Contract extended to 2027
- Flights provided from Brisbane to Moranbah by Thiess
- Wednesday to Thursday shift
- Non-Smoking site
- BIBO provided by Thiess from Mackay and Townsville
- Full camp facilities and meals provided - camp based at the Buffel Park Village - 5 minutes from site. Offering accommodation, meals, wet mess and 2 gym facilities.
About the Role
Working an even time roster of 7 days on 7 days off day/night, roster 12.5hr days. Duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output.
- Complying with Thiess’ policies and procedures.
- Operate, drive, and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads.
About You
- Experience operating Haul Trucks, Dozer, Grader, Loader, or Excavator in a mining environment.
- You must have - verified machinery skills list (training transcripts), signed by SSE.
- Current Standard 11
- A commitment to a positive safety culture

- Current Drivers Licence
- Relevant coal mining certifications
