About the Role:
The role of Linesman within NT Electrical Group's MV Overhead and Underground team based in Darwin is a dynamic and hands-on position, offering the opportunity to work on significant infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory. As a Linesman, you will be responsible for maintaining and installing electrical overhead powerlines and underground service connections, including greenfield subdivisions and substation works up to 132kV. This role requires a combination of physical fitness, technical proficiency with tools and equipment, and the ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team. It offers a rewarding and challenging career path for individuals passionate about making a real impact in the electrical services industry.
Requirements:
- Licenced Electrical Linesman.
- Experience in construction of overhead powerline works.
- Working at heights and operating Elevated Work Platforms Licences.
- MR Driver's Licence as a minimum requirement.
- Full working rights for Australia required.
- LVR & CPR certification within the last 12 months required.
- Must be a team player with strong safety principles.
- Must be prepared to work remotely.
- Remote work experience valued.
Training Supplied by NTEG
- Training to work on PWC assets both Urban and Remote.
- Accreditation and training for MV Switching licence.
- HR drivers licence.
- Pole Top Rescue.
- Opportunity for Glove and Barrier training.
- Welding Course on site training.
