About the Opportunity
We currently have a vacancy for fulltime experienced Mechanical Hydraulic Fitter to join our team located at the Hazelmere office. The successful candidate will be an individual with a high-quality approach. ORH requires a fitter with experience in hydraulic circuit reading, hose making, and the fitout/assembly of New Equipment will be well regarded. On the job product training will be provided.
What you’ll do
- Perform mechanical fitting tasks including assembly, installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of heavy equipment
- Read hydraulic circuits and perform hose and fitting assembly
- Carry out fitout/assembly tasks for new equipment according to specifications
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement appropriate solutions
What you will bring
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate Mechanical Fitting or Plant Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, or a certificate 4 in fluid power
- Significant experience in hydraulics
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to be versatile and assist other trades as required.
- Have a positive work ethic. Proactive and positive approach to tasks
- Excellent teamwork skills, ability to think outside the box.
- Desire to grow and develop within a rapidly growing company.
- Confined Spaces
- Forklift Licence
