We are a well-established Australian owned company specialising in OOG heavy haulage.
We have opportunities for an experienced HC/MC Driver with OOG and wharf experience to join or team. Fulltime hours on offer with immediate start available, based at our West Footscray site. The Role:
To be successful, you will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, be reliable, punctual, hardworking and be dedicated to working safely.
HC/MC Driver -: Carting to and from the wharf and various customer sites
- Wharf experience – current MISC card required
- Current unrestricted HC/MC License
- Demonstrated competency with a road ranger gearbox (preferred)
- Oversize loading and unloading experience – preferred
- RORO, Breakbulk and load restraint experience preferred
- Appropriate licenses and tickets & a clean driving history
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Adhering to the Chain of Responsibility
- Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner
- Adhering to Safety & Compliance directions including pre-start check lists & completing JSA's
- Good work ethic with the ability to show initiative & follow directions
- Reliable with a good level of fitness
