JOB DESCRIPTION
Situated at the ferry terminal in Kettering, tourists and locals alike pass through our cafe before embarking on their journey to Bruny Island. Waterfront views and a captive audience this is an excellent opportunity for a chef to join our team at this beautiful location.
Summary of role requirements:
Successful candidates are expected to have demonstrated competency in the full range of duties including:
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health & safety regulations
- Preparing and Producing high-quality food, pastries and desserts
- Creating unique dining products
- Preparing catering for special occasions
- Effective stock management
- Staff training
Required skills:
- At least AQF Certificate IV in commercial cookery/pastry or higher qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Strong work ethic
