Job Description:
We are currently seeking experienced tree planters to join our team on both part-time and full-time basis from April 2024. As a Regen planter, you will be responsible for planting tube stock, plants and trees on well-organized sites, contributing directly to environmental restoration efforts across Greater Melbourne and Geelong
Key Responsibilities:
- Planting trees along waterways, wetlands, and habitat restoration sites
- Following planting techniques and guidelines
- Ensuring accurate spacing and placement of trees
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet planting targets
- Maintaining a high level of productivity while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements:
- Previous experience in tree planting or similar outdoor work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions
- Willingness to learn and follow planting techniques
- Availability for part-time or full-time work as per scheduling requirements
- Access to transport to make your own way to site
- Your own PPE (steel cap work boots, long pants, long sleeved shirt, sun hat)
