Heath Services at Modbury is a fully accredited General Practice dedicated to providing the best service and care to its Patients.
With the imminent retirement of the Practice Manager, we are seeking a committed and positive minded candidate to fulfill this important role three days per week.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem -solver with exceptional communication and organisational skills, strong interpersonal and management skills and able to work autonomously whilst effectively managing competing priorities.
Role overview
This role involves the overall management and coordination and day-to-day support of the business through HR-related activities, management of the business finances, staff recruitment, workplace health and safety, performance management activities, maintaining company records, ensuring accreditation and legislative requirements are met.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in Practice Management in General Practice.,
- Professional and proactive with high levels of initiative and discretion.
- Superior time management, problem solving, and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in using accounting software for preparation of Payroll, PAYG, BAS, and Bookkeeping
- Experience in the development and review of policies and procedures
- Ensure the General Practice continues to meet and attain current accreditation standards
- Able to work closely with and support all members of the General Practice team

Current drivers’ licence, current police and working with children check
